Partners August Wiedenbach and R. Baker lay the foundation for building a successful corporation, Wiedenbach-Baker.

Baker leaves Wiedenbach-Baker. August Wiedenbach hires his son-in-law, Nelson Brown, who later becomes a partner, forming Wiedenbach-Brown Co., Inc. (WB)

Goodman Light Supply Company is established by Gustave Soloman in Washington, DC.

WB becomes the largest single-house distributor of GE bulbs.

Monarch Electric opens in Newark, NJ.
