Steven Perlman is the President of Monarch Electric Company, where he has spent his entire career. Today he still has the responsibilities of President of Monarch Electric Company and meets with owners of other wholesale distributors that want to explore if their company would be a fit or the USESI Mid-Atlantic region.

Beginning in 1972 while completing a B.A. in Accounting and Economics at Rutgers University, Steven started full time as an Inside Sales Representative at Monarch. Over the years he has been involved in every facet of the Company, from quoting and booking large project orders to implementing new industry leading ideas in the areas of logistics, brand recognition, and financial management.

Steven has been the lead manager on all of the Company's major projects for the past 30 years. He has directed the development of all of the firm's present day operations. He has also provided the leadership that the Company needed to survive during the most recent economic recessions.

Steven has been an elected leader in both industry and community wide organizations throughout his entire career.

He and his wife Lisa have three sons. He enjoys fishing, golf, horse-back riding, and reading.
