C. Brand announced as VP Vendor Relations

Dear valued customers, employees and vendor partners,

I am pleased to announce that Carl Brand has assumed the role of Vice President, Vendor Relations for USESI.  Carl will retain his current responsibilities as the President of Electrical Wholesalers and Standard Electric Supply of MA, NH, & RI. 

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Carl brings a wealth of sales and operations knowledge.  As a recognized expert in Central Distribution Center operations and procurement, he understands the need for strong Vendor partnerships, efficient IT and back-office vendor remittance processes, and the importance of local agent/rep relationships.  Local agent payment allocations within a CDC-based Hub & Spoke distribution model is a key topic for USESI as we need to ensure accurate and efficient sales credit reporting to manufacturers and local agents – particularly when dealing with cross territory issues.  His close proximity to our Hartford, CT Shared Service Group will allow Carl to hone our internal processes and allow him to spend more time with IMARK, our buying group partner.

Please join me in thanking Randy Moore for the fine job for he has performed over the past 3 years as the head of vendor relations as he now focuses solely on his duties as President of Electrical Wholesalers of Florida.
