Hampden Zimmerman 1st Annual Expo

Springfield, MA, September 9, 2009- Hampden Zimmerman (H/Z) hosted their first annual Expo at their Springfield branch located on 274 Taylor St. The event was a tremendous success and included 35 vendors representing over 50 lines. With more than 300 registered customers the impressive turn-out was fueled by raffle prizes and special promotional pricing for all vendor lines represented.

The parking lot of Hampden Zimmerman’s Springfield branch was converted into a showroom covered by an enormous 120’ x 40’ tent. Parked along side the tent were several impressive product display vehicles courtesy of Eaton Corp, Burndy and a local Ford dealership (Sarat).

The Expo was designed to draw a variety of customers throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts and provide them with a chance to interact with the vendors and buy products at discounted prices. Hampden Zimmerman understands the needs of their customer and knows the importance of these opportunities.

“I am very proud of the internal effort that was put forth delivering interested customers to the show. Several contractors commented that they were pleasantly surprised at the quality of vendor product offerings displayed throughout the showcase” said Mark Lauria, President of Hampden Zimmerman and Standard Electric. These remarks were echoed by many of the vendors in participation who commented that the Expo was one of the most well attended events they had been apart of this year.
