J. Shovak appointed VP, Info Tech

HARTFORD, CT, January 23, 2007 – US Electrical Services, LLC (USESI) announces the appointment of Jeff Shovak as Vice President, Information Technology.

Previously Director of IT for Electrical Wholesalers, Connecticut, Shovak has more than  24 years of operational and IT experience in the electrical distribution industry.  Prior to EW,  he worked at Graco Electrical Supplies in East Windsor, CT, for 12 years as Data Processing Manager and Controller.  He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Hartford, Hartford, CT.  As VP of IT he will be responsible for directing Information Technology strategy across several USESI regions.


“Jeff has done a phenomenal job extending the EW IT platform beyond Connecticut.  In just 7 short months, he and his team have enabled the opening of a dozen new branch locations in 5 states and has been crucial in the development of the 130,000 sf Central Distribution Center in Stoughton, Massachusetts,” said Matthew Procaccini, Executive Vice President for USESI . “Over the next few months his team will support the opening of two more CDC’s - one in Middletown, CT and one in Capitol Heights, MD, plus dozens of new store openings.”
