Hampden/Zimmerman to join USESI

EXTON, PA., December 27, 2006 - US Electrical Services, LLC (USESI) today announced its intent to acquire Hampden/Zimmerman Electric Supply Company (HZ).  The transaction is expected to close in January, 2007.

With 3 locations in central and western Massachusetts, HZ has been serving the needs of electricians and contractors since the 1930’s.  In 1972, current owner Robert (Toby) Sanborn purchased Hampden Electric Supply and over the years added M. W. Zimmerman Electric Supply and Bland Electric Supply to his business.  The company has more than 80 employees.
